Jennifer Cusack
Attorney Jennifer Fennell Cusack, has fifteen years legal experience in general litigation, personal injury, domestic relations/family law and medical litigation practice. Jennifer’s primary focus areas are medical litigation, personal injury, general litigation and domestic relations/family law.
Jennifer’s litigation experience includes representation on both the plaintiff and defense side, as well as extensive experience representing insurance companies and corporate defendants. This experience offers a unique perspective which benefits plaintiffs and defendants alike. In her family law practice, Jennifer assists clients with divorces, Separation Agreements, Modifications, Contempt Complaints, and child support and child custody matters.
Jennifer was a member of the Eastham Water Action Committee, in her hometown of Eastham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Jennifer is also on the Board of Directors for the Community Development Partnership, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a diverse, year-round community in the lower and outer Cape Cod region, with a focus on affordable housing and the launch and growth of small businesses. In addition to her role on the Board, Jennifer serves on the organizations Executive Committee as Clerk and as Chair of the Governance Committee.
Prior to becoming an Attorney, Jennifer worked for six years as a public relations professional, advising corporate technology clients on industry analyst relations, product development, new product launches, crisis communications and press relations. Jennifer lives on Cape Cod with her husband and rescue dog.
William Fennell
Attorney, William J. Fennell has over three decades of combined experience in criminal and civil litigation. His initial career experience was as an assistant district attorney for the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office for several years. During that time at the Superior Court level, he prosecuted major criminal felony cases and capital cases.
The last several years his practice has concentrated in civil litigation at the Superior Court level with special emphasis on medical negligence defense and personal injury law. William also represents healthcare professionals in personal and business matters, as well as before the Boards of Registration in Medicine, Nursing, Physician Assistants and Social Workers.
He is also very experienced in representing plaintiffs in all manner of personal injury actions, employment litigation, and representing clients in matters before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission. William has represented litigants in hundreds of cases tried throughout the courts of the Commonwealth and has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
He has teaching experience as a legal education instructor and been a guest lecturer on civil litigation and trial techniques, as well as a presenter in various medical legal forms.
His community activities include 20 years-experience as chairman of the West Springfield Public Safety Commission, Board of Police and Fire Commissioners and currently serves as counsel to the Superintendent and Command Staff of the City of Springfield Police Department.
William’s most recent addition to his legal practice has been to establish with his daughter a law practice on Cape Cod as well as maintaining an active practice in the western Massachusetts area.
Denise Gama
Denise Gama is a litigation paralegal with more than 15 years of experience. She is a graduate of Bay Path College, and has been with our offices since 2005.
Prior to joining the firm, Denise worked in the insurance industry specializing in Medical, Dental, Disability and Life Claims and worked in both the Field and Home Office areas of the Claims Department. She was an advocate for the policyholders and insureds, and was dedicated to exceeding customer satisfaction.
Denise works in collaboration with our attorneys on all matters; assisting with discovery, filing deadlines, trial preparation, legal research and dispute resolution. Denise works closely with our clients to ensure clear and consistent communication. Additionally, Denise has developed and implemented workflows to enhance claim efficiency and implemented various changes to ameliorate operating cost.
